for Migrants and Refugees
Settling into a new country can be extremely daunting but when coupled with a need to understand and navigate the job search process it can feel overwhelming.
Getting Connected & Getting Work is a program designed for migrants and refugees to assist them in better understanding the Australian workplace systems and culture.
This 7 week program is a ‘hands on’ supported journey that enables participants to develop skills in:-
- researching jobs
- applying for positions
- preparing for interviews
- workplace expectations
- following up when unsuccessful
- training options
Getting Connected & Getting Work requires a minimum of 8 participants.
